Notes: This is the 1976 St. Andrews Trade Dollar (Blockhouse), commissioned by the St. Andrews Chamber of Commerce and struck at the Royal Canadian Mint. The inaugural run of St. Andrews Trade Tokens included a mintage of 500 .925 silver coins in sealed plastic envelopes, enclosed in a blue hinged hardshell case with a presentation card. 500 of these coins were minted; 200 were returned to the Mint, never to be distributed.

Notes: This is the 1977 St. Andrews Trade Dollar in .925 silver. It also was struck at the Royal Canadian Mint, and was packaged for presentation in the same manner as the 1976 token. This coin celebrates the world-famous Algonquin Hotel. 500 of these coins were minted, with 200 taken out of distribution and returned to the Mint.
